The Geneva Lake
Conservancy is a not-for-profit charitable organization, which
means your contribution is entirely tax deductible. The Conservancy
traditionally has not sought government grant funds, relying
instead exclusively on contributions from private individuals
and foundations. "Contributions" can take many forms,
including:
- Cash and check
- MasterCard and Visa
- Stocks and bonds
- Specific bequest in will
- Donation of land or historic
property for conservation purposes
- Equipment or services

Contributions
can be made as easily as writing a check payable to "Geneva

Conservancy is an approved Environmental Group for 1%
For the Planet, an alliance of businesses committed to leveraging
their resources to create a healthier planet. Members recognize
their responsibility to and dependence on a healthy environment
and donate at least 1% of their annual sales to environmental
organizations worldwide, which are listed on the site. Members
usually have independent relationships with the groups they
support, and disburse their own contributions.
