Brady Krien (left
- the one attacking the camera with a paintbrush!), a local Eagle
Scout, has been working with the Conservancy to put together a
volunteer project aimed at giving the Mill House a bit of a "facelift."
Included in that project was the fence that faces Mill Street
and the Mill House's storm windows. Both areas were badly in need
of repair, and the Conservancy was more than willing to let Brady
have his way with them!
Over
Memorial Day weekend, Brady and friends completed the restoration
work on the fence. We think they did a fantastic job, and the
"facelift" has improved the look of the Mill House considerably.
With such a good job under his belt, we can't wait to see what
he does with the storm windows! Many thanks, Brady!
