Volunteers are indeed the
lifeblood of this organization, and in every quarterly newsletter
we take the time to thank the many people who do the little
- and big - things that make our jobs easier. These things
range from gardening to the donation of much-needed and appreciated
items for our offices. We even have one wonderful woman who
paints lovely scenes on our front door each season!
In addition to our newsletter
call-outs, we also have several pages dedicated to those individuals
whose projects and continuing support have contributed significantly
to the Conservancy's mission, and to the Board and staff's
ability to carry out that mission.

- Botanica
Danniel Ward-Packard caught up with our Development Specialist,
Terry Quinn, one day, and determined that the Conservancy's
headquarters in the historic Mill House in Fontana would
be a prime location to do a little bit of volunteer work.
Thank you, Danniel and Botanica for all your help this summer!
- Porter
Harrett
Porter and his family have been thanked in countless
newsletters primarily because he helps out all the time!
of all the ways Porter and the rest of the Harrett family
have been a superb help to the Conservancy!
- Al
Hermansen
I think the newsletter article declaring "Way to go Al!"
said it all. After five years, this gentlemen who donated
the Hermansen Woods to the Conservancy is still going out
of his way to help maintain the woods and be a special supporter
of the Conservancy's advocacy and program goals. Click here
for more on Al's 5-year anniversary and generous support.
- Brady
Krein
One can always count on the Eagle Scouts to come through
in a pinch, and boy, did Brady and his family ever pull
through. Click here for
a pictoral of Brady and Co.'s heroic efforts at restoring
the Mill House's wood fence and storm windows.
- Judy
Kompare
Remember those flowers and other lovely pictures that are
painted on to the Conservancy's front door? Well, Mrs. Kompare
is the woman to thank for such whimsy (which really makes
the staff's day). Click here
for a few photos of Judy's designs!
And the countless others
we've thanked in our quarterly newsletter:
