Mary O'Connell

Mary O’Connell is a recent graduate of Saint Mary’s College, where she studied Political Science, Philosophy, and Gender & Women’s studies, with a minor in Justice Studies. Mary is passionate about driving positive change through nonprofit leadership and advocacy, with a strong focus on community engagement and empowerment.

In the fall, she will return to South Bend to pursue a Master of Nonprofit Administration Degree through the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business.

Although she hails from the suburbs of Chicago, she grew up spending summers at her family’s home in Fontana and is thrilled to be back for another summer living at the lake and working with GLC! When she’s not working, you’ll most likely find Mary lounging on a pier, reading on her porch, or cooking.
